Picture 2: Before coloring, pull up a strand from the crown and push against the cuticle to determine porosity. Also twist the strand to determine density (this model did not need a filler). Next, place color primer into palm of hand.
Picture 3: Apply primer throughout the hair. Saturate to desensitize the skin around the hairline and to prep the hair to better accept the color.
Picture 4: Section the hair as shown. Isolate the top leaving a two-inch parting along the rounds.
Picture 5: Now create a zigzag parting within the two-inch panel section.
Picture 6: Using the end of a tail comb, pull out a diagonal slice.
Picture 7: Apply 7XR Firenze Fire (Aloxxi Chroma, permanent color) medium-intense red blonde with 30-volume developer in back-to-back foils within the first zigzag parting.
Picture 8: In the next section, blend 8K (light Copper Blonde) with 40-volume developer. Place in back-to-back foils within this zigzag section.
Picture 9: Create alternating shades along the rounds within the zigzags.
Picture 10: Go to the nape. Apply equal parts Aloxxi Tones 5GR and 5R to make a reddish brown. Blend with its dedicated activator. Apply in single process application.
Picture 11: Use the same shade along the top and process for 25 minutes after last application at room temperature.
Picture 12: Rinse. Once water runs clear apply, Aloxxi Colourlock. Massage into hair and then rinseno shampoo.

Picture 14: I have a lot of clients that love the NYC scene, but cant be too funky. Avant garde hair is great, but these clients cant use it. This look relates to the client. Adeline Chung-Feder
